ETHIC is one of the dynamic and ingenious theater group in Bangladesh established by a bunch of young blood in 2009. Ethic is the short form of “ASHO THEATER KORI”. As a member of group theater federation Ethic is moving forward with the spirit of the great liberation war through the production of plays for the betterment of people and society. Emphasizing creativity, Ethic is committed to presenting different relevant plays that suit the test and preferences of the audience. The young generation theater group ETHIC regularly appears on the stage with various types of plays.

থিয়েটার করার অদম্য তাড়না ও ভালোবাসায় একদল স্বপ্নবাজ নাট্যকর্মীর শ্রমে-ঘামে সৃষ্টি নাট্যদল এথিক। এথিক অর্থ এসো থিয়েটার করি। শুরুটা হয়েছিলো ২০০৯ সালে উপমহাদেশের প্রখ্যাত নাট্যকার উৎপল দত্ত’র বহুল আলোচিত “হাঁড়ি ফাটিবে” নাটক মঞ্চয়ানের মাধ্যমে। সময়ের পরিক্রমায় দলে যুক্ত হয়েছে বাংলার শাশ্বত প্রেম উপাখ্যান চন্ডীদাস, উৎপল দত্ত’র টিনের তলোয়ার এবং শম্ভু মিত্রের চাঁদ বনিকের পালা’র মিথস্ক্রিয়ায় ‘আলোর অপেরা’, আয়নাঘর, গুপ্তধন, রাজদ্রোহী এবং বঙ্গবন্ধুর হত্যাকান্ডের প্রেক্ষিতে ইমদাদুল হক মিলনের গল্পে ‘নেতা যে রাতে নিহত হলেন’ এর মতো মঞ্চ সফল প্রযোজনা সমূহ। এথিক মঞ্চের দর্শকদের মৌলিক নাটকের পাশাপাশি নানান ধরনের নাট্যস্বাদ উপহার দিতে ভালোবাসে। বিভিন্ন দলের তরুণ নাট্যকর্মীদের কাজের স্বীকৃতি ও উৎসাহ দেয়ার জন্য প্রতিবছর ‘এথিক তারুণ্য সম্মাননা’ প্রদাণ করা হয়। ২০২২ সালে বিজয়ের ৫০ বছরে ৫০টি নাট্যদলের ৫০ জন তরুণ নাট্যকর্মীকে এই সম্মাননা প্রদাণ করার মাধ্যমে এই কার্যক্রম চালু করা হয়। এছাড়া করোনাকালীন সময়ে যে সকল নাট্যদল মঞ্চে নতুন নাটক নিয়ে এসেছিল সে সকল দলকে ‘এথিক সাহসী সম্মাননা-২০২১’ প্রদাণ করে। দেশ নাটক প্রবর্তিত ইশরাত নিশাত নাট্য পুরস্কারের প্রথম বছরেই রেজানুর রহমান রচিত ও নির্দেশিত ‘রাজদ্রোহী’ নাটকে অভিনয়ের স্বীকৃতি স্বরূপ শ্রেষ্ঠ অভিনেতার পুরস্কার অর্জন করে এথিক সদস্য সুকর্ন হাসান। মহান মুক্তিযুদ্ধের আদর্শে অনুপ্রাণিত নাট্যদল এথিক আবহমান বাংলার সংস্কৃতিকে ধারন করে গন মানুষের কথা বলতে বদ্ধপরিকর।
Natyadal Ethic is the hard work of a group of dreamy theater workers with the indomitable desire and love of theatre. Ethical means come to theater. It started in 2009 with the staging of the much talked about play "Handi Phatibe" by the famous playwright of the subcontinent. Over time, Bengal's eternal love saga Chandidas, Uppal Dutt's Tin Sword and Shambhu Mitra's Chand Banik's Pala's interplay of 'Opera of Light', Mirrors, Treasures, Traitors and Imdadul Haque Milan's story of the assassination of Bangabandhu, 'The Night the Leader Was Killed' have joined the team. ' such successful stage productions. Ethic loves to present the stage audience with original dramas as well as variety of theatrical tastes. The 'Ethical Youth Award' is given every year to recognize and encourage the work of young theater workers of various groups. The program was launched in 2022 by awarding 50 young theater workers from 50 theater groups in 50 years of Victory. Besides, all theater groups who brought new plays on the stage during the Corona period were given 'Ethical Bravery Award-2021'. In the first year of the Ishrat Nishat Drama Award, introduced by Desh Natak, Ethic member Sukorn Hasan won the best actor award in recognition of his performance in the drama 'Rajdrohi' written and directed by Rezanur Rahman. Inspired by the ideals of the Great Liberation War, Ethic Abhaman, a theater group, is determined to speak to the masses by embracing the culture of Bengal.

Developing creative talent through drama. At the same time, for the purpose of building the country, to involve themselves in social development. Every member of ETHIC must believe in the spirit of the great liberation war. No man is above politics. Yet ETHIC will not be directly associated with any political party. However, the main ideology and purpose of this organization will be to promote the cultural consciousness of all parties and individuals who are inspired by the ideals, developed especially in the independence and sovereignty of the country, and to develop every worker of the party as a good person. ETHIC considers the good person to be devoted, honest, modest and certainly benevolent. He who does not harm others but always tries to do good to others. The good person who has a generous heart, has a heart full of love for others.
