এথিক এর নবম মঞ্চ প্রযোজনা শুপ্তধন। নাটকটি রচনা ও নির্দেশনা দিয়েছেন অপু শহীদ।
ষাটোর্ধ বাবা তার মেয়েকে সাথে নিয়ে নিজেদের প্রাচীন পোড়োবাড়ী বিক্রয় করার জন্য চলে আসে বাপ দাদার ভিটাতে। কথিত আছে গুপ্তধনের লোভে যে বাড়ীতে শ^শুর ও বৌমা জোড়া খুন হয় এবং প্রতি অমবশ্যার রাতে তাদের প্রেতাত্মা বাড়ীর ছাদের উপর ঘোরাঘুরি করে। সিনেমা ব্যবসায়ী বাবা একের পর এক ফ্লপ ছবির কবলে ধরাশায়ী হয়ে বাড়ি বিক্রির সিদ্ধান্ত নেয়। দীর্ঘদিন পর পৈত্রিক ভিটাবাড়িতে এসে নস্টালজিক হয়ে ওঠে বাবা। জংপড়া বন্ধ দরজা খুলতেই একঝাক চামচিকা দিকবিদিক ওড়াওড়ি শুরু করে। বাড়ীর পাশে থাকা তেতুল গাছের সাথে তার স্ত্রীর স্মৃতি বিজড়িত ঘটনার কথা ভেবে আপ্লুত হয়। বাড়ীতে ঢোকার সাথে সাথে সাক্ষাৎ মেলে তার বাবার এক পাগল বন্ধুর সাথে। তারপর সেখানে এসে হাজির হয় সদ্য ঢাকা থেকে বদলী হওয়া পুলিশ কনস্টেবল। নানান ঘটনায় কৌতুহল ও রোমাঞ্চ বাড়তে থাকে। হঠাৎ বাড়ীর ক্রেতা হিসাবে আগমন ঘটে এক রহস্যময় তরুনের। জঙ্গলবাড়ীর ভৌগলিক অবস্থান ও পরিবেশের কথা বিবেচনায় তার বাড়ী কেনার আগ্রহের কথা প্রকাশ করে। বাবা সেই তরুনের ভিতর তার বাবা আর স্ত্রীর খুনীকে আবিষ্কার করার প্রচেষ্টায় থাকে। কিন্তু অবশেষে উন্মোচিত হয় সে তার মেয়ের বন্ধু। মেয়ে তার বন্ধুদের সাথে মিলে সেখানে একটি রিসোর্ট তৈরী করার পরিকল্পনার কথা জানায়। তার বাবাকে শিল্প উপদেষ্টা হিসাবে দায়িত্ব নিয়ে সামনে থেকে নেতৃত্ব দেয়ার আহবান করে। নতুন করে শুরু করার কথা বলে। মেয়ের এমন বিচক্ষনতা দেখে বাবা বিস্মিত হয়। নিজের মেয়ের কাছে হেরে যাওয়ার আত্মতৃপ্তি নিয়ে প্রাচীন প্রাসাদের দিকে ঠাই দাড়িয়ে থাকে।
নাটকটির আলোক পরিকল্পনা করেছেন ঠাÐু রায়হান, মঞ্চ ডিজাইন করেছেন মনি কানচন, সঙ্গীত পরিকল্পনায় শিশির রহমান, পোষাক পরিকল্পনায় হাসনে আরা ডালিয় এবং প্রচ্ছদ করেছেন রফিক উল্লাহ। নাটকটি ২০২২ সালের ১৮ ফেব্রæয়ারী বাংলাদেশ শিল্পকলা একাডেমির স্টুডিও থিয়েটার হলে উদ্বোধনী মঞ্চায়ন হয়।
Ethic Production-9 | GUPTADHAN
Ethic's ninth stage production is Guptadhaan. The play was written and directed by Apu Shahid.
A sixty-four-year-old father comes to his grandfather's house to sell his old house with his daughter. It is said that the husband and grandmother were murdered in the house for the sake of treasure and their ghosts haunt the roof of the house every New Year's Eve. The movie businessman father was caught by one flop after another and decided to sell the house. After a long time, the father became nostalgic when he came to the ancestral home. As soon as Jangpra opened the closed door, a flock of chickadee started flying in different directions. His wife's memory of the incident with the tetul tree next to the house is flooded with memories. As soon as he entered the house, he met a crazy friend of his father. Then the newly transferred police constable from Dhaka appeared there. Curiosity and excitement started to increase in various events. Suddenly, a mysterious young man arrives as a buyer of the house. Considering the geographical location and environment of Jangalbari expressed his interest in buying the house. The father tries to discover the murderer of his father and wife inside the young man. But eventually it is revealed that he is his daughter's friend. The girl tells about the plan to build a resort there with her friends. He called on his father to lead from the front by taking on the role of industrial adviser. Talks about starting over. The father is surprised to see such prudence of the daughter. Stood at the ancient palace with the satisfaction of losing to his daughter.
The play is light designed by Thadu Raihan, set designed by Moni Kanchan, music designed by Shishir Rahman, costume design by Hasne Ara Dalio and poster designed by Rafiq Ullah. The play was inaugurated on February 18, 2022 at the Studio Theater Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy.
