এথিক এর তৃতীয় প্রযোজনা বিশেষ পথ নাটক পুত্র বরণ। মহান একুশে ফেব্রæয়ারির সকল ভাষা শহীদের প্রতি শ্রদ্ধা নিবেদনে মনি কানচন রচিত নাটকটি নির্দেশনা দিয়েছেন মিন্টু সরদার। নাটকটি ২০১৩ সালের ২১ ফেব্রæয়ারি প্রথম প্রদর্শনী হয়। এই পর্যন্ত নাটকটির ১৬টি প্রদর্শনী হয়েছে। ১৯৫২ সালের প্রেক্ষাপটে নাটকের বিষয় বস্তু রুপায়িত হয়েছে গ্রামের সম্ভ্রান্ত পরিবারের কর্তা মকবুল সাহেবের বাড়ীর উঠানের মাধ্যমে। মকবুল সাহেবের একমাত্র ছেলে খোকন ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের লেখা পড়া শেষ করে বাড়ী ফিরে আসবে। মকবুল সাহেবের স্বপ্ন তার ছেলে গ্রামে ফিরে সবার মাঝে শিক্ষার আলো ছড়িয়ে দেবার জন্য শিক্ষকতা করবে। সেই খুশিতে মকবুল সাহেবের বাড়িতে চলছে বিশাল আয়োজন। পাড়ার সবাইকে দাওয়াত দিয়ে খাওয়ানোর পাশাপাশি আয়োজন করার হয়েছে গানের দলের সঙ্গীত পরিবেশনা। খোকনের বাড়ী ফেরার পথে উগ্রীব হয়ে থাকে তার মা, খোকন কে দেখার জন্য ব্যাকুল হয়ে ছুটে আসে তার প্রেমিকা শেফালী। সবার মাঝে খোকন কে ফিরে পাওয়ার সেই উৎকণ্ঠিত মহুর্ত্বে লাশ হয়ে ফিরে আসে খোকন। রাষ্ট্রভাষা হিসাবে বাংলাকে প্রতিষ্ঠার দাবি নিয়ে নামা মিছিলে অনেকের সাথে প্রান বিসর্জন দেয়ে খোকন। খোকনের লাশ পৌছানোর সাথে সাথে মুহুর্ত্বেই উৎসব আয়োজনে নেমে আছে শোকের মাতম। মাষ্টার সাহেব মকবুলকে জানিয়ে দেয় যে, তার ছেলে এই দেশের প্রতিটি ঘরে ঘরে বেচে থাকবে অনন্তকাল।
Ethic Productions-3 | PUTRA BARAN
Ethic's third production is the special path drama Putra Varan. The drama written by Moni Kanchan is directed by Mintu Sardar as a tribute to all language martyrs of Mahan Ekushe February. The play premiered on 21 February 2013. So far the play has had 16 performances. In the context of 1952, the subject matter of the play is formed through the courtyard of the house of Maqbul Saheb, the head of the noble family of the village.
Maqbul Saheb's only son Khokon will return home after completing his studies at Dhaka University. Maqbool Saheb's dream is that his son will return to the village and teach to spread the light of education among all. A big event is going on at Maqbool Saheb's house. Apart from inviting and feeding everyone in the neighborhood, the music performance of the singing group has to be arranged. On the way back to Khokon's house, his mother gets angry, his lover Shefali rushes to see Khokon. Khokon returns as a corpse in the anxious importance of getting Khokon back among everyone. Khokon sacrificed his life along with many others in the march demanding the establishment of Bengali as the national language. As soon as Khokon's body arrived, the mourners started organizing the festival. Master informs Maqbool that his son will live forever in every house in this country.
